Ifeat offers professional development for the aroma trades through a bespoke remote learning platform. The current programme builds on the original ICATS (International Centre for Aroma Trade Studies) course, created by industry expert Dr Tony Curtis, and has been adapted to meet the sector’s need for flexible yet rigorous specialist education in flavour and fragrance.
Designed to suit individual learning needs, the asynchronous online courses are written by both industry professionals and academic experts. They comprehensively cover the flavour and fragrance aspects of the aroma trades. Successful completion of coursework leads to the highly respected IFEAT Full Diploma or Certificate. As all units are assignment-based, there is no requirement for attendance or examinations, allowing learners to study entirely at their own pace.
The programme supports graduates and professionals across a range of roles, from perfumers and flavourists to scientists, technicians and researchers, helping participants enhance their expertise and contribute additional value to their organisations.
